Kofi Setordji was born in Accra in 1957. He began his career as a graphic artist and in the nineties went on to become
Kofi has had exhibitions in various African countries, in Europe and in the United States. In Ghana, he has been awarded various commissions from the government for the creation of wall reliefs, including for the museum belonging to the mausoleum of Ghana's first president, Kwame Nkrumah. Together with the French artist Di Rosa, he created the only public modern artwork in the city. Parts of the genocide-monument have been exhibited in the Ivory Coast, Senegal and France. Plans have also been made for a tour of Germany. | |
